The Cumbria Cricket League has been in existence since 1935. For many years it was the main cricket league in Cumbria. From 2000, a number of teams have moved into other league structures, leaving the league to run for teams in the West of the County.
The league is now predominantly a development league and provides vital experience for juniors as they bridge the gap between Junior cricket and Senior cricket.
This season, 2018, see Haverigg 3rds re-join the league set up, making 8 teams. Games are played over 40 overs and are scheduled for Sundays. The season culminates with a 20/20 finals day on the August Bank Holiday Monday.
